About The Classes

This class is full of variety and uses current music - we call it the “Fun and Funky Class”!

The focus is on fun and enjoyment of dance, combined with good training.

Pupils can take exams with the IDTA in solo, pairs and team performances.

As you can see from the photos, we are a friendly bunch! All abilities welcome.

Who Is It For?

Anyone wanting to learn to dance! Plus anyone who has learnt other dance styles and wants a change.

Most of our pupils take both this class and the Latin + Ballroom class together. We strongly encourage this for good technique development.

(Our under 7s classes automatically mix Fun’n’Funky with Latin + Ballroom.)

Where And When?

Wednesdays at Upminster Junior School, Saint Mary’s Lane, Upminster. (Map)

3-7 Years: 4:00 - 4:45pm

8-10 Years: 4:45 - 6pm

11+ Years: From 4:45 pm onwards
